Darla Cowart

      Darla Cowart joins Coach Whitney Deaver in the 2025 season as an Assistant Varsity Coach.  Coach Darla has worked in the Huntsville community as a Family and Sports Medicine physician for over 25 years in her own private practice, has served as team physician for UAH and other sports organizations, and has donated time serving on multiple non-profit boards in the community.  Her coaching experience includes all levels of competition – from rec ball, middle school, Sparks Elite travel ball, and high school.  Coach Darla is excited to be a part of the strong softball tradition at Huntsville High.
